Is it bad to send or buy artificial flowers instead of fresh flowers?

No! They last practically forever and can be purchased in just about any price range or color and style. For a lot of homes artificial or "silk" flowers are great. No watering, and you don't have to worry about kids or pets chewing on them.

With the advances in construction and materials silk flowers look so real they can be very hard to distiguish from real flowers. For an office they can be great because they are practically no maintenance. Maybe a little dusting ocassionally.
